What do I need to do before a before an end of tenancy clean?
There are a couple of things you need to do to ensure your cleaning team can deliver a 5* end of tenancy clean at your home. Here are a few things to double-check:
- Check your moving date – the team can only clean a vacant property so you’ll need to have moved out before the clean.
- Make sure there are no personal belongings left behind and all cupboards and drawers are empty. The team cannot move boxes so the property should be empty apart from any furniture that came with the tenancy.
- Empty your fridge and defrost the freezer to ensure the team can clean them.
- Keep the utilities on, as the team will need electricity and hot water.
- The cleaning team needs to be the last one to work on your home. So, if you needed to replace something, or have maintenance or decorating work done – please make sure that this is done prior to the clean.
